Fusion Light Technology™

Fusion Light Technology™ is the combination of 405nm + IR which is Osolumio™'s own invention and we have operated our own research for several years to create continuous disinfectant with the synergistic effects of the light from two different wavelengths. The 405nm can kill various types of bacteria & viruses by stopping the growth. At the same time, IR also helps to eliminate more effectively by using the heat.
 The 405nm light has been scientifically proven the capability of killing bacteria and viruses by credible studies.

 How It Works 

  
 
Osolumio™ light initiates a photo-reaction with endogenous non-iron porphyrin molecules found only in microorganisms. The porphyrin molecules are photoactivated. Osolumio™ light frequencies excite the porphyrins, causing a break-off of excess Reactive Oxygen Species (ROS). The Reactive Oxygen Species leads to cell lysis and inactivates the bacteria, preventing it from re-populating the surface or travelling to further surfaces or hosts.
Similarly, Osolumio™ light can suppress the growth of virus by blocking the virus' docking to hosts. As a result, without any hosts to reproduce with, the virus will not be able to survive. 
 
 

 Danger of UVC 

  
UV is the light in the 100-380nm wavelength and is divided into UV-A, UV-B, and UV-C based on wavelength. The most germicidal wavelengths commonly used for sterilization or disinfection occur in the 200-280nm range, which is commonly known as UV-C.
Unlike Osolumio™ light, UVC is harmful to the human body, and many studies have shown the danger of UVC and is not recommended for use on skin or eyes directly. UVC disinfectants also damage the molecules’ DNA and RNA directly, and can change the structure itself. It is also known to cause severe damage to eyes, skin and even lungs.

Osolumio™ has two types of mode: disinfectant mode and lighting mode.
You can simply use it anywhere and anytime you can imagine.
 
  

 Economical Technology 

  
Osolumio™ is a highly energy efficient product, as its power consumption is as low as 6 watts (350mm model). You can even use it with a portable power bank, using a USB cable.
We use low-power and high-efficiency LED, so you do not need to worry about the electricity bill.
Using some of the electricity billing standards, the cost is estimated between 40 cents and 80 cents (depending on product size, and billing structure by your local electricity company), when turned on for the whole month.
